Essex Housing’s Annual Delivery Plan is approved
31 March 2022
Essex County Council is pleased to announce that it has approved the 2022/23 Annual Delivery Plan for Essex Housing LLP.
The decision marks the latest chapter in its significant and exciting development programme.
The plan sets out Essex Housing LLP’s approach to delivering new housing across the county, with schemes being brought forward in Colchester, Maldon, Epping Forest, Chelmsford, Harlow, Brentwood, and Tendring.
The current Essex Housing programme comprises 1,010 properties, of which 48% are housing for older people, people with disabilities or general needs affordable. Of these 359 properties already have planning permission and a further 70 are currently awaiting determination.
Essex Housing is building on a strong track record of delivery and a growing reputation within the sector.
We are proud that our unique approach is already realising benefits for Essex residents, and we are confident that our ambitions will be met as we continue to bring forward high quality housing that our county can be proud of.
By developing with a social conscience, Essex Housing enhances important assets, putting design, quality and sustainability at the forefront of what it does and shaping places that Essex can be truly proud of, all while reducing the burden on the taxpayer, generating capital receipts and delivering revenue benefits.
