Now open - two-bed show home at Oakview Walk, Harlow!

A new 2-bed show home at Oakview Walk, a contemporary development in Harlow, is now open for viewings.

Essex County Council are proud to announce that this new housing development will deliver 35 modern sustainable two, three and four-bedroom homes, 6 of which have been allocated for affordable housing.

Thanks to the use of air source heat pumps and solar panels, all homes will have an EPC A rating, which means that they are more economical and stay warm for longer. The modern properties also benefit from contemporary kitchens with integrated appliances, underfloor heating to the ground floor, as well as bi-fold doors to certain plots, with the remainder having double patio doors.

The development also benefits from a woodland walk as well as the retention of four impressive oak trees which provide a central focal point and enhance the open space for residents to enjoy.

This site received just over £231k grant funding from the central government Land Release Fund 20/21 as part of the One Public Estate to support the release of council owned brownfield land for housing and is a great example of high-quality housing and utilisation of public sector land that was surplus to requirements.
