Shenfield Library

Through this project Essex Housing have created a brand-new energy efficient library, including an outdoor learning space, new furniture and fittings, and flexible use meeting room, alongside an adjoining commercial space, with 9 high quality private apartments above.

The former library building was demolished in Summer 2022 and construction work on the new library started in Autumn 2022.

The official opening of the library was held on 25 February 2025.
